Charles E. Glover died at Cloverdale on Monday after an illness lasting 8 weeks. The cause of his death was ascending paralysis. His mother, Mrs. Matilda Glover was with him. Robert Glover and Mrs. CE Hanna were summoned by phone but did not reach Cloverdale until after his death. The body was brought here on Tuesday and interred Wednesday morning in the Presbyterian cemetery, after funeral services at the home of Mrs. Matilda Glover by Rev Thomas G. Pearce.

Mr. Glover was born Nov 22, 1855 at the old family home in Waveland. he was the 4th child of Newton and Matilda Glover. His boyhood was spent in Waveland. At an early age he started in business at Judson, where he lived the greater part of his life. In 1898 he removed to Cloverdale where he died. He united with the Presbyterian Church in Waveland, Feb 1874 during the ministry of Dr. JW Torrence. Later he transferred his membership to Judson where he served as deacon for a # of years and was promoted to the eldership about 1892. After moving to Cloverdale he removed his membership to the Putnamville Church. During his life he was an earnest Church worker, closely identified with the Sun. school as a teacher and superintendent. He leaves a wife and 3 sons, Newton, Otho and Walter. Those present at the funeral from a distance were Mr. & Mrs. John Glover and daughter, Miss Mary of Crawfordsville and Harry Dicky of Terre Haute -- typed by kbz.
